What is a Peer Leader?
A Peer Leader is a current full-time student that exemplifies and upholds Penn State's mission, core values, and school spirit. Peer Leaders are a critical component to the transition and success of our new students and serve as vital student leaders by guiding new students through Orientation, Move-In Day, and New Student Day.

What type of time commitment should I expect?
There will be various one-hour training sessions during the Spring 2013 semester.
Additional training will occur noon-5:00 p.m., Friday, May 10, 2013.
Orientation is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the following days:
Monday - Friday, June 17 - 21, 2013
Monday - Friday, July 8 - 12, 2013
Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013
Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013
August 22, 2013 (Times to be determined)
New Student Day
August, 23, 2013 (Times to be determined)
What are the requirements to apply?
Interested applicants must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher and submit a completed application by 5:00 p.m., Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, to the Student Development Center, room 101, Student Union Building.
