Beaver students will dance in February’s THON

1/28/2013 —

Two Penn State Beaver students will dance in the University’s annual Dance Marathon (THON), February 15-17, at the Bryce Jordan Center, Penn State University Park.

Dancers are Nicole Nuske, a freshman education major from Ambridge, and Danielle Roethlein, a junior engineering major from Georgetown studying at University Park this semester. In addition, other campus students will accompany the women to provide support and boost morale.

THON, the largest student-run philanthropy in the world, engages in fundraising efforts yearlong to raise money to combat pediatric cancer and provide support for patients’ families.

Since 1977, THON has raised more than $89 million for the Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital.
