Beaver students will host blood drive to benefit THON
The Penn State Beaver Dance Marathon (THON) Committee is partnering with the Red Cross to host a blood drive, 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 7, in the campus Student Union Building Lodge. For each person who donates blood, the Red Cross will donate $4 to THON to help with pediatric cancer research and provide support for patients and their families.
Participants can make an appointment to donate or are welcome to give on a first-come, first-served, basis. To register in advance, visit http://www.redcrossblood.org/make-donation-sponsor, then type in the sponsor code – PSUBeaver – and the event date.
