Course Description
This 18-hour program is designed to assist high school students who are preparing to take the SAT exam. The course will familiarize students with test components, questions, and problems.
Actual questions from previous SATs will be used for practice. Mathematics and verbal sections will be covered. The course should also enhance students' verbal and mathematics skill levels.
Materials
The Official SAT Study Guide: Second Edition, now with 10 practice tests, features official SAT practice tests created by the test maker. With 1,000 pages and more than 20 chapters, it has everything you need to get ready for the SAT.
Instructors
Penn State Beaver mathematics and English faculty will teach the mathematics and verbal sections of the review course. Each instructor is familiar with the exam and the steps necessary to prepare students for successful test-taking. If requested, faculty members will be available outside of the class sessions to discuss questions and provide tips.
