Jessica Jackson Appointed to New Position
Jessica Jackson, residence life coordinator at Penn State Beaver, has been appointed coordinator of residence life and student activities in the Office of Student Affairs, effective August 1.
Ms. Jackson will continue to hold several primary responsibilities within the residence life program, but fifty percent of her new position will focus on enhancing activities and services for the support and development of campus social, recreational, cultural, wellness, and educational programs for students and student organizations.
‘Since her arrival on campus in 2006, Jessica has implemented many innovative programming initiatives and demonstrated leadership in supporting our continued campus focus on student engagement,’ said Dr. Chris Rizzo, director of student affairs. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in community counseling from Lynchburg College, Virginia.
