President's 2008 State of the University Address Set for Sept. 19
Penn State President Graham B. Spanier will deliver his 2008 State of the University address in video format to the University's Board of Trustees beginning at 8:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 19. The video showcases the progress Penn State has made over the past year.
After his board presentation the video will be posted to the President's Web site for viewing by Penn State faculty, staff and students, as well as the general public. The video also will be shown on the Big Ten Network at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 2, 6 and 8, and on “To the Best of My Knowledge” at 7 p.m. Sept. 23 on WPSU-TV.
This is the third year Spanier has used the video format for his annual report in an effort to broaden the reach of his State of the University address. Over the last two years, the video versions have had unprecedented audiences, reaching thousands of viewers through the Web site, DVDs, podcasts and television.
