Professor from Germany will be guest speaker for IST meeting
Pablo Pirnay-Dummer, assistant professor at the University of Freiburg, Germany, will be the guest speaker at a luncheon meeting of the Penn State Beaver Information Sciences and Technology (IST) Advisory Board on Friday, April 24.
A native of Bremen, Germany, Pirnay-Dummer is the CEO of ParaDocks Omnimedia. He received his doctorate from the School of Economics and Behavioral Sciences of the Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg, Germany.
Pirnay-Dummer’s research primary research interests include learning, cognition and instruction with a focus on mental models, knowledge and knowledge assessment, technology-enhanced learning environments, and knowledge management.
