Jenn Hain honored by Business and Professional Women's Club

Penn State Beaver junior Jen Hain was recognized as a 2009 Beaver County College Student of the Year by the Beaver Valley Business and Professional Women’s Club at a dinner held April 30 in Aliquippa. The annual award recognizes Beaver County college students who have been honored for their accomplishments in and out of the classroom.

A native of Bellevue, Pa., Hain is a corporate communications major and a resident assistant in the campus residence hall, Harmony Hall. She is a member of the campus Lady Lions volleyball and softball teams and was captain of the volleyball team when they won the 2007 Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) Championship. Hain is employed as a student worker in the Offices of the Chancellor, Academic Affairs, Development, and Campus and Community Relations. She is a member of the Student Computer Fee Committee and the Penn State Beaver Communications Advisory Board. Upon graduation she plans to pursue a career in marketing and event planning.
