Children's play, 'The Frog Prince,' is open to public

The Penn State Beaver Theatre will present "The Frog Prince" at 2 p.m. on April 18, in the auditorium of the Penn State Beaver Student Union Building. Tickets for the play, which is open to the public,are $3 for children and adults. To make reservations, contact Linda Garlitz at lkg5@psu.edu or 724-773-3574. "The Frog Prince" is suitable for pre-school and school-age children and is adapted from the Grimm Brothers’ classic fairy tale. Penn State Beaver Theatre has been presenting live theater for young children for more than 35 years.

The presentation is directed by Carol Schafer, associate professor of theatre, integrative arts and women's studies. The cast and crew are students enrolled in Schafer’s theatre production class.
