Teams finish third, seventh in USCAA; Fredericks makes USCAA history
On Thursday, May 13, the Penn State Beaver baseball team finished third in the USCAA National Tournament after a defeat by the University of Cincinnati, Clermont College (Batavia, Ohio), 6-3, at Old Orchard Beach, Maine. On Monday, May 10, senior Greg Frederick made USCAA history when he pitched a no-hitter in a win over Central Maine Community College, 3-0. Beaver finished its season at 23-13.
On Sunday, May 9, the Beaver softball team finished seventh in the USCAA after defeating Southern State Community College (Hillsboro, Ohio), 10-2. The women ended their season at 27-20.
