Soccer coach receives honors

Dan Grant, head soccer coach at Penn State Beaver, was recently named a Fellow of the British Computer Society (FBCS), one of the highest professional honors awarded to those working in the information technology industry. Other FBCS include Bill Gates, chairman of Microsoft, and Gene Amdahl, one of the original architects of the business mainframe computer, including IBM's System/360 computer line. Grant is a chartered information technology professional and a chartered professional engineer registered with the
