Undergraduate Research Fair will be held April 6
Penn State Beaver will host its 10th annual Undergraduate Research Fair, beginning at noon on Wednesday, April 6, in the Student Union Building. The event, which is designed to highlight student scholarship and research conducted on campus, showcases student presentations of in-depth, original, scholarly work and research. Projects from all academic disciplines are welcome, including business, humanities, liberal arts, social sciences, physical sciences, mathematics and computer science. The abstract and registration form must be approved and submitted by the faculty member serving as the student’s research adviser.
Clare E. Conry-Murray, assistant professor of psychology, is chair of the 2011 Undergraduate Research Fair Committee. Other committee members are JoAnn Chirico, senior instructor in sociology; Zhongyuan Che, associate professor of mathematics; Talha Harcar, associate professor of business; Irene Wolf, senior instructor in philosophy, and Carol Schafer, associate professor of theatre, integrative arts, and women's studies.
