Student chosen as alternate student senator for University College
Kelsea L. Green, a Penn State Beaver sophomore science major from Philadelphia, has been elected to serve as one of two 2011-2012 alternate student senators for the Penn State University College. The University Faculty Senate requires that two student alternate senators be identified as well as two student senators. The responsibilities of the alternates are to serve if an elected senator(s) is unable to serve during the academic year. The announcement was made recently by Nancy L. Herron, associate dean for academic programs, Office of the Vice President for Commonwealth Campuses.
