Campus community attends meetings, presentation by CLGBTE
Penn State Beaver students, faculty, and staff attended meetings with and presentations by the Penn State Commission on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Equity (CLGBTE), Monday, April 11.
The commission held a meeting at 10 a.m., followed by a presentation, ‘The Unique Challenges Facing Individuals Who Belong to Multiple Minority Populations’ delivered by Tamara Storey, director, counseling services, Dickinson School of Law, and Terry Watson, a coordinator of residence life at Penn State University Park. At noon, ‘A Recovering Homophobe’s Reflections on Sexual Minority Status’ was presented by Carla Pratt, Professor of Law, Dickinson School of Law, and was followed by a luncheon for CLGBTE and campus members.
