Admissions Office will host free events in July
The Penn State Beaver Admissions Office will host two free events, 5 p.m., Wednesday, July 11, in the Student Union Building.
The Spend a Summer Evening program will provide attendees with information about the admissions process, financial aid, the academic experience, and living on campus. Participants will also meet with campus faculty, staff, and students to learn more about the Penn State experience. Penn State Creamery ice cream will be served at the end of the evening.
An Adult Open House is open to those interested in beginning or continuing to pursue a degree. Attendees will learn about the five baccalaureate degrees available at Beaver in Administration of Justice; Business; Communications; Information Sciences and Technology, and Psychology. Information about enrolling for the first two years of more than 160 Penn State degrees will also be provided.
Participants will meet with a counselor, explore degree programs, gather financial aid information, and receive an unofficial review of transcripts. In addition, the standard $50 application fee will be waived for those who apply to Penn State that evening.
For more information or to register for an event, contact the Admissions Office at firstname.lastname@example.org, 1-877-JOIN-PSU, or visit the online scheduling system.
