Admissions Office will host June events for traditional, adult students
The Penn State Beaver Admissions Office will host two free events for traditional and adult students on Thursday, June 20, in the Student Union Building.
The Spend a Summer Evening program will begin at 5 p.m., and an Adult Open House will be held from 5 to 7 p.m.
Spend a Summer Evening provides an opportunity for prospective students to meet with students, faculty and staff to learn about the admissions process, financial aid, academic programs and expectations, and living on campus. Penn State Berkey Creamery ice cream will be offered.
The Adult Open house offers information about the five Penn State bachelor’s degrees offered at the Beaver campus in administration of justice, business, communications, information sciences and technology, and psychology, as well as enrollment in the first two years of more than 160 Penn State baccalaureate degrees.
Visitors will meet with counselors and receive unofficial review of transcripts, and the $50 Penn State application fee will be waived if applications are made at the Open House. Penn State Beaver is unable to waive the application fee for the RN to BS in Nursing or any graduate program.
