Beaver campus United Way Committee offers Penn State Creamery ice cream
The Penn State Beaver United Way Committee has announced its first-ever sale of half gallons of Penn State Creamery ice cream. The sale is open to the public as well as all campus faculty, staff and students. Orders must be placed by 5 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 10.
Order forms are available now by contacting Dana Alvetro, program assistant, Office of Continuing Education, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 724-773-3762. Payment is cash or check only and must be made when the order is placed. Cost is $8.50 per half-gallon, and proceeds benefit the United Way of Beaver County. Orders can only be picked up at the Beaver campus Housing and Food Services Building from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 21 and 22. Twelve flavors of ice cream are available: vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, butter pecan, peachy Paterno, bittersweet mint, WPSU coffee break, coconut chip, peanut butter swirl, cookies & cream, chocolate chip cookie dough, and death by chocolate.
In addition to Alvetro, other United Way Committee members are Ted Froats, manager of information technology; Parker Goolsby, coordinator of residence life; Cindy Platz, staff assistant, Office of Finance and Business; Renata Shaw, staff assistant, Offices of the Chancellor, Campus and Community Relations, and the Brodhead Cultural Center; Claudia Tanaskovic, instructor in chemistry, Justin Vorbach, admissions counselor; and Jennie Ward, staff assistant, Offices of the Registrar and the Division of Undergraduate Studies.
