Beaver students will host Mini THON in November
Penn State Beaver students will host a Mini THON called Dance for a Cure at 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 1, in the Student Union Building Lodge. The event replicates the Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon, known as THON, on a much smaller scale. THON raises money to support the Four Diamonds Fund in its fight against pediatric cancer. Mini THONs are held annually across the state at Penn State locations as well as elementary, middle and high schools. THON will be held February 21-23, 2014, at Penn State University Park’s Bryce Jordan Center. THON has raised more than $101 million since its inception in 1977.
