FAQ
Q: How can I make a reservation to use the DC studio or editing suites?
A: You must make an appointment with Dr. Peter Deutsch, associate professor of physics, room 6, Michael Baker Building. Dr. Deutsch is usually in his office, Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. In the future, an online appointment system will be available.
Q: Why doesn't my card work on the door when I swipe it?
A: The first thing you need to do is visit a member of the Instructional Services Department because to gain access, your name must be added to the approved access list. This only takes a few minutes. Please see one of the following staff members:

--Jim Luce, senior instructional services specialist, room 2, General Classroom Building
Q: I need a digital video or still for a project, but can't take the equipment from the studio. What should I do?
A: Digital video and still cameras, as well as wireless microphones, are available to be signed out. Please see Dr. Peter Deutsch, associate professor of physics, room 6, Michael Baker Buiding. Dr. Deutsch is usually in his office Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. His schedule is also posted on his office door.
Q: I have a camera but no tape. What kind of tape do I need?
A: Student must use their own tape. The campus bookstore has been asked to stock the appropriate "Mini DV" video cassettes that will work with campus equipment.

A: There are a number of ways to get help with Digital Commons projects:
