What is a Peer Leader?
Peer Leaders are current full-time students who exemplify and uphold Penn State's mission, core values, and college spirit.
Peer Leaders are a key component in the successful transition of new and transfer students arriving at Penn State Beaver, and they play a vital role in guiding students through the Freshman Testing, Consulting, and Advising Program (FTCAP) and New Student Day.
Peer Leaders are here to ensure that new and/or transfer students and their families become familiar with the campus community and its resources.
To apply to become a Peer Leader, a student must have a grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.5.
