Meet a Lion Ambassador
“Becoming a Lion Ambassador was one of the best decisions I’ve made during my time here because I’ve gotten the chance to meet incoming students, make new friends, and develop closer relationships with faculty and staff.
As a commuter, I wanted my Penn State experience to be more than just coming to campus for class and leaving. I wanted to get involved with as many things as I could, while still having time to dedicate to my academics.
In addition to Lion Ambassadors, I'm a member of the Blue and White Society, Peer Leaders, THON, Psychology Club, and cheerleading. I love being able to walk around campus and always see someone I know. I also love that my professors know me by name and not just as another student in one of their classes. Building those relationships makes all the difference and plays a huge part in our academic success as students.
I just finished my first year of college and I’m still as enthusiastic as I was on my first day. I’m extremely proud to be a Penn State student and couldn’t imagine myself being anywhere else.”
